ALG at AIPLA Annual Meeting, Washington
ALG’s Ashwani Balayan and Aparna Sreedhar enjoyed connecting with friends and colleagues during various sessions and committee meetings at American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) Conference, 2019.
Ashwani Balayan also presented India Patent updates at the IP and Far East Committee Meeting discussing the recent amendments and updates of the Patents Rules, 2019.
ALG India Law Offices LLP Promotes Sakthiya Dakshi to Partner
ALG is pleased to announce the promotion of Sakthiya Dakshi as a Partner, taking the total number of partners at the firm to 7. The partnership is effective from November 1, 2019.
Sakthiya has 9 years of experience in the field of Intellectual Property. She is a registered Patent Agent with experience in patent drafting and prosecution in the fields of biotechnology, nanotechnology and industrial engineering. At ALG, her practice also involves domestic and international trademark and design prosecution, and drafting and reviewing commercial contracts including IP licensing, assignments and transfers.
She completed her Bachelor of Technology degree (in the discipline of Biotechnology) from SASTRA University and LL.B. degree from Osmania University.
