Stepping away from a conventional Monday morning, the ALG Team participated in an insightful and energetic workshop on Professional Self Awareness, Productivity and Collaboration. The curated sessions brought out the team’s creative side, and facilitated vibrant interaction and introspection. The workshop also provided an opportunity to share precious moments with some tiny tots with infectious smiles.

Sheja Ehtesham, ALG’s Managing Partner, spoke on the intersection between trademark rights and copyrights as it relates to graphic logo trademarks, and best practices for using these trademarks to protect your brand in India and China. The panel discussion was hosted by Intellectual Property Owners Association’s IP Chat Channel, and moderated by Jacqueline Allshouse – Hutchens. The other speakers on the panel were Victoria Longshaw and Andreas Renck, who spoke on the Asia Pacific region and Europe.

A warm welcome to ALG’s new addition – Manavi Jain as Senior Associate.

A graduate of Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur, she has been conducting domestic and international trademark prosecution for 3 years.

Outside of Work, Manavi enjoys reading and travelling, and is a huge ‘Friends’ TV show buff.

ALG Attorneys enjoyed meeting with friends and clients from around the globe in the always vibrant INTA Annual Meeting held in Boston this year. This year’s conference ended up being a combination of packed schedules, dinosaur shows at the Science Museum, lots of sea food, some pretty crazy karaoke, copious amounts of coffee, and lots of laughter!
