Ashwani Balayan was a panelist in the session on “Challenges to commercialisation of Patents” at the 41st Global Legal & IP Confex and Global Law Tech Exhibition in New Delhi on April 18. Ashwani spoke about the challenges and strategies in commercialisation of patents in different industries such as Pharmaceuticals, Telecommunications, Electronics, etc. in India, and the benefits of FRAND, patent pools, and cross-licensing.
