Interns – Rahul Kumar Barnwal and Twinkle Madaan have commenced their General IP Internship with the firm’s law practice.

We hope their stay in the firm during the 4 week period of their internship will be mutually enriching and that the firm and they will learn exciting things from each other!

Mr. Tiwari is former Deputy Registrar of Trademark & GI with nearly 30 years of service in the office of the Controller General of Patents Designs and Trademarks (CGPDTM), Government of India. During his tenure, he was in charge for implementation of the Madrid System for international registration of marks in Indian IP office. He has also been instrumental in preparing the draft of amendments in the Trade Marks Rules, 2002 and the Trade Marks Rules 2017.

Patent Intern – Vipul Sharma (Final Year Intern) has successfully completed his Internship at ALG. At the end of his internship, he obliged us with his thoughts and ideas during the Sharing of Reflections (SoR) sessions. His presence enriched the firm while he interned here. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

ALG Partner Ashwani Balayan will be attending the AIPPI World Congress in San Francisco from September 10-15. This year’s in-person Congress will see a high-level exchange of insights between experts from different countries on intellectual property issues such as trade secrets, unfair competition, patent linkages, moral rights, NFTs, Metaverse, filewrapper estoppels, etc.

A longstanding AIPPI member, Ashwani currently serves on the Patents Standing Committee and Pharma Standing Committee.
