ALG’s Managing Partner, Sheja Ehtesham shared her views with INTA on its first-ever virtual Annual Meeting & Leadership Meeting in November 2020. These were published as part of INTA’s review of the Meeting in the INTA Bulletin on December 9, 2020 (available here).

We share an excerpt from her observations – “Participating from India, I was able to not only access high-quality recorded educational sessions, but actively participate in live ones that were held at times designed to be convenient for this part of the world. This was particularly valuable to me. In the last 10 years I have been attending INTA conferences, I have rarely been able to attend the educational sessions owing to a schedule packed with client meetings. This year was very different; I was able to seamlessly do both.”

ALG’s Associates participated on 27th November, 2020 in the firm’s seminar on “Volunteering in Management Program” (ViMPA) for Associates and shared plans for their Areas of Responsibility for the quarter December to February.

A ‘Legal Issues Seminar’ was conducted by Sunidhi Bansal, Associate & Abhimanyu Kumar, Partner, presenting the Firm’s Submissions made in response to the draft ‘Central Consumer Protection Authority (Prevention of Misleading Advertisements and Necessary Due Diligence for Endorsement of Advertisements) Guidelines, 2020’ notified by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs. The Seminar was held as part of ALG’s ‘Legal Issues – Seminar Series’, part of its ‘Continuing Legal Education Program.’

ALG’s Gaurav Bhalla was invited to judge the semi-final rounds (on November 22, 2020) of the 8th National Client Counseling Competition, 2020 organized by the School of Law, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun. It was the first time that the competition was organized on a virtual platform by the University.
